Thanksgiving Update

We are doing some serious catch-up here on the blog, so I am starting here at Thanksgiving. We had FULL HOUSE at Thanksgiving with Mom and Dad Boehler, Grandma Boehler and Justin and Lindsey's family here. And that without the addition finished means we had 17 people in a 3 bedroom house. There were people EVERYWHERE! But is was a lot of fun. The children of course had a great time being with their cousins and Justin helped Dad and Bo on the addition. Thank you Justin and Lindsey! And as always, the picture make for better stories than the words.

The following three picture are of the 6 cousins that are closest in age: Molly and Adam are three months apart.

Jane and Emily are 8 weeks apart.

And William and Titus are 3 weeks apart.

Grandma gave all of these outfits to the great-grandchildren for early Christmas presents. The girls had a blast dancing in their dresses and Jacob has already worn a hole in the knee of his pants because it immediately became his favourite outfit. Thanks Grandma!

Here Katherine is getting tickled by Great-Grandma Boehler . . . It never ceases to amaze me how much energy Grandma has and how she uses it to rile the kids up. :-)

Whoever said you could have too many cooks in the kitchen? All of these aprons were made by either mom or myself.

And of course, here is Thanksgiving dinner.

In other news in November, Adam got his first bath, and our church also threw a baby shower for Adam which was lovely.

Not such a happy little boy. But he has gotten much better about baths since then.

Thanks so much Valley Church for the wonderful welcome to Adam!

Cousin Addy stayed a bit longer than the rest of the cousins so she got to go to church with us on Sunday. I love this sweet picture of Katherine and Addyson.

The children also had a "Unit Celebration" in November. They studied Creation thru the Exodus of the Israelites and the giving of the Law in the wilderness. It included a study of the Flood, ancient Egypt, the giving of the Ten Commandments, and much more.

This was the dessert the children picked out for their celebration dinner. :-)
