The Christmas Update

We had Dad Zeerip and Joan join us for Christmas this year. They had a terrible time getting here because of the weather, but finally made it about 1am on Christmas morning. Thanks for your dedication in getting here!

We opened stockings on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day making pies was a family affair.

This was our Christmas present to Jane: a little tea set. I think I have glued 2 tea cups, 3 saucers and 1 plate back together so far. :-)

I think this picture is just about as "picture perfect" as you can get!

Christmas dinner was hamballs, an old recipe of Mom Zeerip's that Dad gave to me to try a while back. YUM! It is definitely a family favourite now.

We went to see a model train exhibition with Dad and Joan. It is a model of the local area, complete with Mt. Garfield. The kids really enjoyed it.

Here is Dad with Adam.

Just a cute pic of Adam, ready to go out in the cold weather.

This is the HUGE box Aunt Audrey sent us! It came late so we opened the presents later when we opened the ones from Rebekah's side of the family. William is in the picture to give you some perspective on how BIG the box was. Thanks so much AA! You surely do spoil us!
