The table set for the Seder.
All the family gathered for the Passover Meal.
This is a bowl with some of the "props" we got to use during the Seder. We have some very dear friends who have been celebrating Seder Meals for many years and they graciously lent us all of the items we would use for the meal. When we recounted the 10 plagues, there were small props in the bowls to aid us in remembering them . . . the sunglasses represent darkness, the cows remind us of the death of the livestock, there were little flies, lice, frogs, red ribbons showing the red blood in the Nile, and so on. Very helpful for the children.
Easter morning the children wait for their baskets.
The main gift for the older children this year was their very own first Bible.
Easter Egg Hunt
William finally understood Easter Egg hunting this year!
Jane on the hunt.
All of the goodies found. The eggs were stuffed with strawberries or nickels and pennies this year.

William having trouble getting into his eggs. :-) He decided he didn't like strawberries this year. He was so excited when he opened an egg with a strawberry in it, he would yell, "Strawberry!" then "Here you go Jacob." No matter how many times he opened up strawberries though, he still repeated the whole thing.
And since Adam did not get to participate much in the activities this year, here are a couple of cute pics of him to finish up the post.

So glad you guys had such a great holiday. We did the Passover meal quite a bit growing up and I loved it.
Little William cracks me up: the cowboy boots with the pajamas was clasic and his face while trying to open the easter egg was hysterical.
Blessings, Carrie
